“Dr. Amy” Pruszenski, Developmental Optometrist

“Dr. Amy” is the founder and president of Harbor Eyecare Center, a private optometric practice in Portsmouth, NH.  She & her associates concentrate on creative solutions for patients’ vision lifestyle needs, including vision therapy to help resolve learning-related vision issues and vision issues related to brain injury.

Donna DiBello, COTA

Ms. DiBello is a COTA working in public schools with children age 3-21 as an integral part of educational teams. As a related service for Special Education, she provides Vision Therapy including integration of therapy into the school curriculum.

Outcomes:   At the completion of the workshop, participants will increase their knowledge in:

Vision & Learning

Visual Efficiency Issues

Visual Perceptual Issues and Vision Processing

Education Interventions for vision issues affecting learning

Referral criteria for Functional Vision Evaluations
